BACK TO WORK!

Right guys, I've finally got back to work on coding the project! After a worthy break, I'm not tired anymore and ready for anything. Though I did start 2 days later than I was supposed to.
So far, I've got a good system going and I am doing this entirely from scratch. I completely forgot what I was doing at some points, but I'm proud to be on good track.
We have decided that soon we will be releasing a Tech Demo II, however we will not release the title for that one yet.

9 hours, my friends.

Hey there, friends. It is I, Leeron. I'm here to tell you some stuff. As you may know there are about 9 hours till the release of the Tech Demo. Yup. 9 hours, after what feels like an age. So, a couple things to mention before it's release:

1. The game now has an official title "Fall of Equestria"
2. No we will not tell you why it's called that.
3.The tech demo is about 2% of the awesome the full game will be.
4. Please constructively criticize. We want to make this better, but friendly words are often a lot more motivating than "BAH THIS GAME SUCKS. I HATE THE GRAPHICS AND PINKIE PIE IS STUPID"
5. You're horrible, why would Pinkie Pie ever be stupid?
6. Yes Derpy, and Vinyl will be playable characters in the full version.
7. The download works for Mac, and PC. (Sorry Hipst-I mean linux users.)
8. Have fun.

With the release of the tech demo closely approaching I've been pretty pressured to do all of the stuff to do.
Unfortunately I work best under the procrastination of other work, so I've been looking for other people to help on the team, and I've been looking into animation. Long ago I had a silly pixel art site, and the head animator of it was incredibly helpful, and awesome. I haven't worked with him since the site's shutdown... but we talked, and he would love to help with animation in this project. Please welcome Vash. And here's his first animation for the game.

Today is the final day of school. I'm about to leave in 40 minutes, so I thought I'd pop that in here.
The game has reached over 3000 lines of code! (3146 to be exact).
Progress of the game is enlargening, and I am almost ready to release the demo version for you all to try out! WOO!

Progress of 2 days

Over the previous two days, I have been stressing my heart out for this game. Just now, I have finished:

• Menus for the statistics
• The statistics themselves
• Saving & loading files, as well as creation and initialization
• Performance Changes
• Portraits
• Fixing the health bars

As easy as it may sound, it is not. I hope in the end you appreciate my hard work as the coder of this game, as I have worked my behind off for it. If I find out I've wasted my time working on a game that is never successful, devastated would be the biggest understatement on this planet.

MLPRPG (temporary name) is and always will be 100% free. Even if we did put money toward the development of this project, we're doing it for you MLP fans out there, even the girls! Due to this, we want to give you something that is both simple and complex, but also amazing to you. For free.

Haha! We finally made a new blog for our project. This way, we can share with you all of the recent updates, ideas, and chatter about the MLP RPG (Temporary Name) project. 


The project is lead by dekuscrub441(or Lleeron), and the main coder is LemonLake (me! :D).
